Saly Elias, OD

Saly Elias, OD, is a skilled optometrist who helps patients with a variety of eye care needs at Lake Orion Vision in Orion, Michigan. Dr. Elias is passionate about delivering high-quality services at an affordable price.

Dr. Elias is a native of Windsor, Ontario. She graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in health and nutrition science. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, Dr. Elias was accepted into Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, where she graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree.

During her final year of optometry school, Dr. Elias had the opportunity to work with low-vision patients and help the legally blind with daily activities. During her rotations, Dr. Elias also had the chance to work at John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit and Lake City VA Medical Center in Florida. These experiences greatly informed her practice.

In working with veterans, Dr. Elias became knowledgeable and proficient in diagnosing and treating dry eye disease, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and many more ocular diseases. Dr. Elias enjoys providing comprehensive eye examination to patients of all ages and looks forward to meeting you soon.
